The Governing Council has given the green light to the amendment of the Statutes of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) prepared and approved by the Senate of this university, which will allow the adequacy of its contents as specified in rules adopted by the Spanish Government to adapt the university system to the European Higher Education.

Also introduces the management of university education, and the adequacy of the contents of the Statute to other regulations such as the Basic Statute for Civil Servants, Law on Public Sector Contracts, the Status of Students and the Law Effective Equality of Women and Men, among others.
