The students use the workshop staff of the ADLE House begin their professional practices.
The Agency for Local Development and Employment has signed a partnership agreement with the Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena and the Messengers of Peace Association for the 40 students working for a year.
The workshop began on 16 December and is aimed at training for the unemployed to facilitate their employment. It is funded by the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena City Council, the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Region Murcia, the Ministry of Employment and the European Union through the European Social Fund.
Employment workshops are included in measures to support job creation and configured as a mixed employment and training aimed at unemployed 25 to 54 years.
Participating workers acquire vocational training and work experience by undertaking works or public utility or social interest related to new employment sites, allowing its subsequent employment for others as well by creating business projects or social economy.
The 40 participants in the Workshop on Employment House Staff have been trained in geriatric care specialties to Dependent on Social Institutions and geriatric care to people at home.
The practices are doing in the Senior Residence Virgen del Mar and the Home Care Service of the City of Cartagena.
