The Day Care Centre for Senior Citizens of El Algar lived on Tuesday particular celebration of Carnival with a series of activities organized by the Messengers of Peace Association and the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, would not miss the party and participated in the events planned, including a costume parade was an exhibition of carnival masks made ​​by the largest in the center, music and Spanish music, with assistance over the other day centers in the city, ending with a Carnival Ball.
Day Care Center Senior Alfonso Escamez of Algar, was opened by the City Council with the aim of offering, through its facilities, care and comprehensive care to older people who require it.
It is therefore a center of social health and family support that provides daytime care for basic personal needs, therapeutic and socio-cultural older people affected by different degrees of dependency, promoting their independence and remain in their usual environment.
