IU-Green has filed a motion in the Regional Assembly by the Council urges the Government, within the available budget, ensure the maintenance of the college of Nursing Cartagena as public school.
The motion notes that the privatization of the college "will mean the abolition of the principle of equality and accessibility for students, which only guarantees from the public sphere."
Remember also that in the 90's the regional government tried to privatize the management of this educational center, but was postponed to the response of students and faculty.
In addition, left-wing organization has been a request for hearing with the Minister for Universities and Research Company, José Ballesta, to explain the situation of the school, which currently houses about 200 students.
