The City Council in collaboration with the museums of the city is preparing and which will be already the fourth edition of Night of the Museums of Cartagena has become one of the cultural events of the city with the highest participation.
This year the date in Europe for this celebration is May 19.
As part of cultural program to accompany the opening night and free museums and museum spaces participants has been included this year as new open call allowing free artistic proposals from artists who individually or collectively upon selection of a jury, will become part of the official program of the Night of Museums.
Proposals that are selected through this call will be held in the Plaza of Smiles, which will be enabled with a stage and the technical means to allow them to be shown dignity.
The City will assume no other costs except production technical equipment and staff that oversees, is expressly excluded others (caches, travel, accommodation).
In this way the organization hopes that a significant number of artistic proposals may freely join those which make up the official program and develop within or on the environment of each participating museum centers.
The deadline for proposals will close on Friday March 23.
