The installation of a scaffold to the High Street exit to the restoration of an Art Deco façade, has forced the Festival Committee and the council of Celebration to modify the output of the great Carnival parade on Saturday, February 18.
Thus, the procession will begin its tour in Plaza de San Sebastian, using the Town Hall for the concentration of groups and Jara street to the platforms and great costumes.
The measure was taken for security and that the step has left the scaffold was insufficient for the transit of the floats and the choreography.
Another development that will present this year's parade route of expanding its final stretch of Spain's Square and Paseo de Alfonso XIII.
Specifically, the committee is to bypass the Plaza of Spain by the Carmelites sidewalk and take a walk to the junction with Angel Street Bruna Ã, where again counterclockwise circulation to the street with Carlos Garcia Lorca III.
Thus the final route will be as follows: Plaza de San Sebastian, Puerta de Murcia, Calle del Carmen, Spain Square, Paseo de Alfonso XIII (Ã ngel Bruna up and down the counter to García Lorca).
The scaffolding that forced the change of the output of the parade, will be dismantled before Good Friday, so it will not affect the passage of the Holy Week processions.
