Municipal retirees begin tomorrow, Tuesday January 31, two new computer courses.
The classes are framed within the programming of Elders of January, February and March of the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
The first course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 to 13.30 hours and the second group of 17 to 18 hours in the computer room of the building of the Miraculous.
The tuition fee is 15 euros.
The aim of these courses is to provide knowledge and skills in managing computer as needed for older people to access new technologies and learn to use different tools as the Internet and office software package.
The Senior Program objectives are: To promote the active participation of older people s with courses occupy their free time creatively and orderly develop their personal skills, foster social and cultural exchange, to prevent situations of isolation and loneliness, improve their quality of life by creating opportunities for participation and socio-cultural activities appropriate to their demands and needs, encouraging active participation, physical, mental and social development of older people.
