The Asturian writer and illustrator Violeta Monreal will be in Cartagena on 25, 26 and January 27 to participate in early childhood education students from various schools in Cartagena and the Region in the activity meetings with authors, organized by the Department of Culture through the network of municipal libraries.
For these meetings, the kids have read books and worked what animal is it?
and Mine, mine the egg is mine, published by Editorial Everest and in the collection Enchanted Mountain ¿¿.
On January 25 the author will be at the Kids' Library Cultural Center where he will Ramón Alonso Luzzy four games at 9:30, 11, 12:30 and 15:45 hours.
The day will be in the Library 26 Rafael Rubio (Dolores) and 27 in the Library will Campillo Manuel Puig (Pearl District).
THE AUTHOR
Violeta Monreal Diaz was born in Oviedo (Asturias).
Writer and illustrator, his broad curriculum is preceded by a strong academic background.
He graduated in Fine Arts.
Does the third cycle doctorate specializing in Drawing and because as an intern for Scientific Research and Technology, undertaking a project in which the focus is on children and perception-representation in the drawing.
In 1987, thanks to a Research Staff Training grant (FPI) in the United States began contacts with the design industry and world-renowned institutions like the UN.
Collaborate further with UNICEF for the children's world making original greeting cards for Christmas.
Arrival in Spain and began their collaboration as an illustrator, first, and then as author-illustrator with major publishers, especially children's books: Anaya, Everest, Bruno, Alfaguara, Gaviota.
Its activity specialized in children's art lecturer and creativity workshop coordinator, painter (participated in both individual and collective exhibitions), writer, illustrator, etc..
Violeta Monreal make a writer great demand not only for schools, local publishers and corporations, but also by institutions such as AFAL and others.
