Road Safety Education Park on Thursday welcomed the first of five courses organized PROLAM Occupational Center-Astus, aimed at improving safety in travel as a group of people with intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy.
In total there were Fifteen adult participants in this activity center, which was divided into two parts, one theoretical, classroom Driver Education Park (ENP), and practical, in the circuit of the ENP, acting as pedestrians and drivers bicycles and tricycles, the trained.
The aim of these courses, arising from the meetings held last November Occupational Center monitors Astus and monitors PROLAM-Education Park Road, is to teach these disabled mobility identify hazards in groups, with special emphasis on aspects such as getting around the city, road junctions, use of public transport and convey preventive behaviors to reduce risks and guidelines to follow in emergency situations.
