This Christmas the departments of Tourism and New Technologies of the City developed a Municipal Web platform for citizens to send their congratulations on line, by means of animated Christmas cards.
This area received about 4,000 visits and 1290 were sent personalized postcards with their respective comments.
The animated cards referring to four representative locations in the city: the Town Hall Square, the Roman Theatre, the Palace dome clock Memorial Hall and the procession the first two being the mostly elected with 776 and 293 items respectively.
At present and to continue promoting the city throughout the year, is working on the selection of images to keep this service on a permanent basis and that both tourists and citizens of Cartagena can still send digital postcards to family and friends.
