Poland, Germany and the UK are the most popular destinations for students to train in Europe UPCT next year through an Erasmus scholarship.
During 2012-2013, the UPCT sent abroad to over 200 students to one of 147 universities in 25 countries with which agreements are in force.
The International Relations Department has recorded 395 requests for a dozen universities in Poland.
Second is Germany, with 335 applications to any of the 16 universities offered.
United Kingdom, is in third place with 66 requests for 5 schools.
Higher education institutions more attractive to students this year have been: Opolska and Bialystok (Poland), Stuttgart, Dresden and Bremen (Germany) and Newcastle (United Kingdom).
Applications made to destinations in Germany have increased by almost 60% over 2010-2011.
In the last call 300 applications have been recorded for the 540 places available.
Erasmus exchange program is the most popular European university.
The scholarship students can take courses at other universities, making the final project or an internship.
The length of stay ranges from three to twelve months, either in an educational institution or a company.
Through this exchange program, students receiving UPCT mainly from France, Finland, Norway, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Greece and Turkey.
The Vice Chancellor for International Relations and Campus of Excellence, Ramon Ruiz, said that "the mobility of students is a strategic pillar being the internationalization one of the main objectives of Campus Mare Nostrum".
