The art of bobbin lace is something that women's associations in the municipality do not want to let it perish.
For that reason met last Saturday, day 14, in St. Anton.
There took place the V Meeting of bobbin Lacemakers, which was also attended by the Councillor for Festivities, Florentina Garcia.
Women's Association of Los Dolores, El Bohio, St. Joseph the Worker, lighting, Ports, Torreciega, Los barriers, Four, La Palma, and La Aljorra Galifa gathered at the Casino de San Antón to chat and share their work.
During the ceremony, delivered the neighboring Lacemaker Honor Award 2012 to the mayor of Celebration s, Florentina Garcia.
Also, Lacemakers Women's Association of San Anton gave some gifts to associations that are responsible for keeping alive the tradition of the roll in the port city.
The meeting coincided with the festival of San Antón quarter, which ends tomorrow.
