Cartagena Local Police took stock of the interventions made ​​since last December 20 to January 8, to mark the special device of Christmas, New Year and Epiphany.
The greatest number of interventions occurred in traffic accidents, which accounted reached 151.
Of these, 106 resulted in only property damage of varying degrees in the vehicles involved, while in 44, its occupants were injured and one case had to mourn the death of a person.
Aware of this situation, the local police made ​​during this period to 50 controls for alcohol, speed and documentation, which resulted in, among others, the detection of 30 cases in which low circulating drivers affected by alcohol and two cases in which lacked the appropriate license.
The local police also attended 74 requests for help from citizens and participated in 33 fights and scandals, six assaults, in general, and nine in the family.
As for robbery and theft, were 19, five vehicles, two and twelve people in homes and commercial premises.
Finally include sanctions in the field of public safety, 28, three for breach of the bylaw of pets, three alcoholic beverages in public places and 17 illegal hawking.
