Municipal services and Share share car parking, which manages the Department of Environment of the City of Cartagena, in 2011 experienced a significant increase in the number of users and visitors.
In regard to share car, has been multiplied by five the number of visits, from 103 in December 2010 to 527 in December 2011.
Also, users have increased from 680 in 2010 to 863 in 2011, a total of 183 new users.
The data also show that users have an average age of 37 years in men and 35 women.
In addition, all users involved, 50.4% were offered as drivers while 33% are as passengers, and there are more users discharged with own car (55.8%) than those who sign up without car (44.2%).
Then there is the frequency of the routes they share with other people in the municipality, noting that the trips are mostly sporadic, with 58.5%, compared to regular paths, which are 42.2% of the total.
Primarily, this is occasional travel (55.1%) or work (30%), and less flow paths are to move to places of study (5%), leisure (3.2%).
