The Tuesday meeting at the Palace Hall in charge of City Hall, the UIMP and Cartagena Chamber of Commerce to take the first step towards the implementation of the headquarters of the International University in the City
On Tuesday, January 3 will be the governing board of the Consortium International University Menéndez Pelayo, performance begins with the launch of UIMP headquarters in Cartagena.
Remember that in October 2011, the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, the rector of the UIMP, Salvador Ordóñez, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Miguel Martinez, as representatives of the institutions involved, signed the agreement to establish in the city permanent headquarters of the university, with administrative offices in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce in the port, and the aim of offering courses in languages, new technologies, postgraduate and masters by renowned researchers.
The meeting for the constitution of the governing council, which will be at 11.00 hours in the Hall of the Palace Hall Councilors, will be attended by the aldermen of the City, Joaquín Montero Segado and Rosario, and the rector of the UIMP Salvador Ordonez, accompanied by the Vice President for Academic and University Extension, Maria Cruz Diaz, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, Miguel Martinez.
