The digital animation feature Carthago Nova, which premiered in theaters in Cartagena last March, has been nominated for best animated film Goya Awards 2012.
A total of 6 nominations the film has received in this twenty-sixth edition of the awards, as they are, in addition to best animated film, best film, best original song, best director, best original screenplay and best original music.
Produced by the Integra Foundation, is an audiovisual work 65 minutes in length, developed by computer animation, in which the viewer is transported to the first century AD to discover the city of Carthago Nova through a story and characters fiction, a work of great educational and informative for understanding the Roman legacy valuable treasures the city of Cartagena.
The foundation of the city by the Carthaginians and their subsequent conquest by the Romans and splendor reached, it is clear through large venues such as the port, the theater or amphitheater.
