Cartagena City Council has opened the application period of temporary facilities on beaches.
From 3 to January 27 instances may be submitted for the services of Holy Week and summer.
These temporary facilities are beach bars, schools of candles and scooter hire, hammocks and parasols.
Applications are available on the municipal website and must be submitted to the Municipal Institute of the Litoral, located in the Gran Via 2, in La Manga del Mar Menor.
As you may recall these facilities are regulated by municipal ordinance regulating the occupation of public roads for Hospitality Uses and Facilities in Beach Season, according to the rules of the Coastal Act and its regulations.
Cartagena City Council has established aesthetic criteria to ensure that these facilities generate a negative visual impact.
Among others, requires that the kiosks are made of wood and according to standard models.
