Francisco Andreu Morata Cartagenero was today elected the Year 2010 award from a jury chaired by the mayor mixed, Pilar Barreiro, and composed of three members of the Tourist Initiative Centre (ILC), three representatives of the media (press, radio and television), the Cartagenero of the Year last edition, the councilors of Culture and Tourism and the official chronicler of Cartagena.
Morata is currently president of APIC, Association for the Mentally Ill Community Integration of Cartagena and Shire, and the Spanish Confederation of people with mental illness.
He was also a municipal councilor of Cartagena with the Cantonal Party between 1979 and 1991, serving as deputy mayor during the last term in which he participated, and the opposition in the past.
The award, which reaches its 40th edition, is organized by the CIT and has the support of the City of Cartagena.
