Carnival 2012 is just around the corner to open mouth, the Councillor for Festivities, Florentina Garcia Vargas, and the president of Carnival Cartagena, Carmen Sanchez, today unveiled the poster that will image the holidays, as well as who will embody his most iconic, Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma.
The poster, designed by Iñaki Fernández Iturmendi, senior technical illustration and winner of over 280 prizes of posters, was chosen among the 78 papers presented because it reflects the joy and magic that we want to convey in this upcoming Carnival, said Carmen Sanchez, a edition will be full of surprises, beginning with the election of the queen.
Celebrations for the Councillor is not a question of speaking with the budget available to this party as Carnival 2012 will be one of the best that ever lived, showing that despite the crisis, with imagination, enthusiasm and desire to work can compensate for the lack of money.
