The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Councillor of the area of decentralization, Nicholas Angel Bernal, president of the neighborhood, Francisco Mula, and the neighborhood association, Alfonso Martinez, inaugurated this afternoon the renovations that have been out in the clubhouse Isla Plana, situated on the square of the Sea of the town.
The building was originally the barracks of the Guardia Civil de Isla Plana.
In the early 80s of last century was loaned to you conditioned Hall to house the neighborhood association, retaining much of its structural elements.
The works carried out consisted in replacing your old roof, the internal redeployment of space and the renovation of the facade.
It has been implemented in two phases, in the Barrios program and Provincial Works in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.
The amount was around 200,000 euros.
The facility has a floor area of almost 300 square meters, distributed in a multipurpose room, divisible by a movable partition, public toilets, canteen future, SKIP and neighborhood.
The event was also attended by the Councillor for New Technologies.
District Employment and Diego Ortega, and the socialist city spokesman, Charity Rives, with large number of neighbors, who has come to know the result of these works, which have lasted two years.
