The residents of the neighborhood José María Lapuerta already have a new cultural space: the Forest of Stories of the World.
This garden, located opposite the social club, will open on Sunday, day 18, at 12.30 hours.
The inauguration will attend the Youth Councillor, Ruth Collado.
The neighbors have been renovated and repopulated this natural area to organize activities and games for children and youth. They themselves are the protagonists in the presentation of cultural forest and explain the origin and meaning of the initiative.
This project came at the initiative of District Coordinator, with the collaboration of all organizations working in the area.
The origin of the name Forest of the Tales of the World, comes in 2006, the year of the creation of the Botica del Libro, a project of the Youth Council that seeks social and cultural integration through reading.
The Southeastern Association of Naturalists (ANSE) advised the neighbors when repopulate in the garden.
In addition, merchants have collaborated economically and neighbors and donated trees have been planted.
