The Agency for Local Development and Employment gave Wednesday at the headquarters of the COEC, a Food Handler Course in which 30 people have particiapdo, among the 100 applications that were submitted for the conduct of this training.
This is a free course, targeting unemployed people as active workers, and managed by the ADLE at the request of the Department of Women.
The course is about giving, in a session, the training required to obtain food handler card, such as hygiene, legislation, food hazards and preventive measures for their control, and is aimed at all those people who want to work in the hospitality industry or catering establishments.
The Agency for Local Development and Employment is still committed to facilitate the formation of the inhabitants of the municipality of Cartagena with more guarantees access to the labor market, and with this course, offers participants the opportunity to obtain formal accreditation they allowed to work in the catering sector.
