The Agency for Local Development and Employment has managed to rescue, preserve and promote one of the oldest crafts in the history of Cartagena, glaziers, through the glass-blowing course that has been developed at the Museum of Santa Lucia from 24 October and ended on December 1.
With this training, in which 15 students participated, has tried to stimulate the artistic production of this material as it was found on Saturday with an exhibition of his works in the Museum, attended by Councillor Employment, Diego Ortega.
This free course of 138 hours of teaching, supported by the Regional Employment and Training and the European Social Fund and managed by ADLE, was aimed at unemployed people, which over the same have learned such things as the preparation the furnace, blown glass pieces termination.
