Back to the medieval center during this weekend.
Mayor Pilar Barreiro inaugurated this morning the tenth edition of Medieval Market organized by the City of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Services, which for the first time also join Public Safety, Commerce, and Central Public Roads Historic. Until December 4 the market will be located on the main streets of Old Town.
This time has been put in place a hundred artisans scattered throughout the Plaza de la Merced, Duke Street, Four Saints, San Francisco, Pallas, Plaza de San Ginés and Laughing Square.

Among the changes noted that the posts have been placed only on one side of the road to gain breadth and avoid crowds, stressed Barreiro, who also stressed the importance of the market as attractive for Christmas.

Besides donkeys, visitors will see a caravan of camels.
