The Local Government Committee this morning approved the proposal of Councillor for Finance, Personnel and General Scheme, Fatima Suanzes, intended to record an expense of about 560,000 euros in the budget for 2012 to centralize in a single supply contract fuel vehicles in the City of Cartagena and its autonomous bodies.
The agreement will begin the process of hiring this year and proceed to award the contract in early 2012.
As pointed out by Fatima Suanzes the initiative is part of the team's objective to centralize all Municipal Government supply contracts as possible in order to obtain better prices covering the remains of bodies and boards of City Hall, which until now they did separately.
In the case of fuels, municipal technical report has estimated that could get a rebate of up to 20 percent.
So far, municipal vehicles refueling at service stations agreed and payment is made through vouchers.
A centralization of fuel, will follow the acquisition of material supply for municipal brigades, for which the Governing Board also approved this morning a spending commitment of 100,000 euros.
They will not be alone.
The municipal department is also hiring is engaged in developing other specifications to centralize the purchase of office equipment of the City and all its autonomous bodies and boards.
DEAL OF THE CHAIRS OF MONEY
The Local Government has approved grants to the Board of Holy Week Brotherhoods, Federation troops and legions and Carnival Committee, for the exploitation of the chairs that are placed in the parades.
The cast has been proportional to the number of parades organized by each of these entities.
Carnival, will receive 2751 euros, Carthaginians and Romans, 5502 euros, and the Easter brotherhoods, 44,021 euros.
TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS IN AREAS ASCOCIACIONES
Another of the resolutions of the Board of Governors has been awarding grants to some 60 organizations and neighborhood associations and councils, especially neighborhood associations, amounting to some 200,000 euros.
Also has approved a grant of 11,400 euros to the Federation of Neighborhood Associations Fernando Garrido, completing the delivery of 57,000 euros to the federation, municipal budgets under 2011.
It has also approved a grant of 17,500 euros for the Federation of Women's Associations Mediterranean, and a collaboration agreement with the coordinating center for Caritas Cartagena attention to women victims of violence or at risk of social exclusion.
THIRTY JOB MARKET NAVIDEĂ'O
Finally, among other matters, the Governing Board gave the green light to the establishment and award of traditional Christmas market stalls in the central avenue of the Alameda de San Anton.
It will consist of 30 stalls of crafts and jewelry and will be held between December 6 and January 6.
