The councilman of Social Care and the Director General for the Elderly in the Community, on Monday joined the protagonists of the event, Carmen Muñoz, Josefa English, Bonifacio Isidro Sanchez and Moreno who have passed the age of 85
Well neighbors Strait held on Monday 21 November, the act of homage to the elders of the deputation, in the activities on I Cultural Week which takes place from 21 to 26 November organized by the Senior Center Pozo Strait and the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
Social Care Councillor of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon and Senior Managing Director of the Autonomous Community, Enrique Perez Abellan, attended the ceremony which paid tribute to four neighbors octogenarians.
Carmen Muñoz Cegarra, born on January 6, 1924, and English Josefa Jimenez of September 10, 1926, and Bonifacio Isidro Garcia and Moreno Sánchez Moreno 1925, in both cases, were the honorees.
During the week there are various cultural activities such as lectures, music variety, Spanish song, and the performances of ballet and rocieros groups.
