The Department of Public Safety, Downtown, Commerce and Service Way and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cartagena has organized the Christmas Window Dressing Competition 2011, with the idea of promoting the adornment of the shops in the city during the holidays .
The contest is open to all establishments in the city of Cartagena, with the limitation of having a sales area of less than 300 m2 (except furniture business which may exceed that limit).
The registration will be held in Cartagena Chamber of Commerce, presented the application form, or sending it by letter, fax or email, prior to December 9, 2011.
Once submitted, entry will be given to the participants a cartel participant certifying establishment, which prominently displayed in the window during the contest.
The exhibition will contain some reason escape allusive to Christmas, will remain at least between days 12 to 31 December 2011.
Among all participants to pre-select those who contest for innovation, quality, originality and good taste stand out, and between them will be awarded first, second and third prize of a trophy and diploma.
The jury will be composed of representatives of the City, Chamber of Commerce and Department of Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Handicrafts, with an interior decorating expert from the International School of Design and an expert from the School of Design in our region.
