The jury of the XXVI International Poetry Prize Antonio Oliver Belmar, will announce on Wednesday 23 November at 13.00 hours, its failure, in a ceremony to be held at the Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso.
This edition has been marked by a large share, with a total of 170 poems that have come to the People's University of Cartagena from the time it opened last April, some of them from across the Atlantic, such as Mexico , Cuba Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile and Venezuela and Brazil and the United States.
In addition, entries were received from Italy, Israel and Mozambique, all with the obligation to be written entirely in Spanish.
The jury for this prestigious award is made ​​by Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Vicente Gallego, Salvador García Jiménez, Blanca Andreu and Eloy Sanchez Rosillo.
As for the provision of the award is € 12,000, the publication of poems and a commemorative sculpture by the artist Mayte Defruc.
