Fire Staff of the City of Cartagena have stifled the early hours of this morning a fire in the kitchen of a home located in the square in Medina Organist Eixample district.
The Emergency Coordination Center (CECARM) received the warning call about 7.50 am, a few minutes after the fire originated in the exhaust fumes from the kitchen of the house, situated on the first floor.
Two fire engines went to the site of the events where national and local police had already begun to evacuate the building of ten floors and had access to housing to smother the fire.
After taking over the situation, proceeded to cool the area and ventilate the house and the stairs of the building so that residents could return to their homes.
The operation lasted about 47 minutes in addition to the damage, it is worth noting the attention of medical services there, a woman displaced by smoke inhalation.
