The fourth edition of Barrios-ADLE program begins its second phase with the Occupational Workshop Peral District Maintenance and Los Dolores, where participants will receive practical training in urban maintenance, masonry, gardening and painting.
The workshop lasts for two months, is done in the morning and during this time participants will receive a grant of EUR 6 per day of attendance.
Students are sixteen people unemployed began in October, the first phase of the program with guidance and training activities for active job search.
Passed the theoretical part, students are trained in specific tasks for their employment.
The goal, as explained by Councillor Employment, Diego Ortega, is to train unemployed people in the districts in carrying out maintenance on their own area, to facilitate their incorporation into the labor market and make them aware that public spaces are all and all depends on the upkeep and maintenance.
Barrios-ADLE The program began in 2009 and has already acted in Santa Lucia, La Aljorra, Slum Latin America, Cabo de Palos, Well Strait, Los Molinos Marfagones, Lo Campano, El Algar, and the Albujón.
