The forty students engaged in the employment workshop Care Unit in the Classroom (ADA) promoted by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, are these days visiting old people's homes in the municipality.
Country House Residences, Los Almendros and Nova Santa Ana, have been the first to be visited by the students accompanied by administrative and teaching staff of the same.
The goal is to learn about the services offered to users as well as the organization and workflow, and equipping of schools where students develop their professional future.
At the same time, as explained by the Councillor for Employment, Diego Ortega, the visit serves to ensure that managers know the centers of the students qualified workers employment workshop with a view to future selections of personnel to their homes.
ADA Employment Workshop began in December 2010 funded by the Local Development and Employment of Cartagena, the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the European Union through the European Social Fund.
