Twenty-seven were finally short selected to participate in the International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC/40) to be held from 11 to 17 December.

Participants fall into the two sections of the Festival: The Official Selection of Short Films, has fourteen short, eleven and three foreign nationals from Italy, Denmark and Honduras.

Section MURcine short thirteen filmmakers involved in the Region of Murcia.

These short, to be screened during the festival week, have been selected from over 400 submitted by movie fans for this edition.

As for the awards, in the section of the best short films will receive 3,000 euros, and will also give awards for best direction, photography and script.

On the other hand, MURcine section, the first prize 'Silver Caravel Cartagena City' will be 1,500 euros, while the second, the "Peral Submarine ', will be 500 euros.
