Fifteen students learn the tricks to find work over the Internet (07/11/2011)

Fifteen students have begun this morning during an active job search through social networks, organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, in order to learn the many tools and tricks of the Internet to make more fruitful the search for a job work, as indicated by the Councillor for Employment, Diego Ortega, who has attended the opening of the course.

In this training involving both unemployed people as active workers, who will attend the course of 80 hours, delivered in the morning, Monday through Friday, at the headquarters of Famdf (Murcian Federation of Physical Discapacidatos) in Duke Street Severiano, next to the post office in the Alameda de San Anton.

Classes are primarily practical, as explained by Professor Mercedes Caravaca, since the aim is that students use the Internet to find a job.

In addition to social networks like Facebook, or Twitter, with special emphasis on those professional basis as Linkedin or Xing, where users enter their resume and connect with companies around the world.

The classes also teach you tricks and tips for writing a good resume or cover letter, and also to face a job interview, where they often play tricks on the nerves, as indicated by Mercedes Caravaca.

After completing the course, participants will have learned to handle the various employment resources through Red and analyze and make use of professional social networks.
