Local police officers arrested last Saturday, October 29, an individual while trying to steal a power line wiring in the street in front of the morgue Sigh Castillitos.
The incident occurred at four thirty in the afternoon when a neighbor who had noticed a power failure at his home observed the behavior of individuals and alerted police.
The officers posted to the place surprised him while sawing a utility pole, using pliers and a special saw for wood with which they had cut off another post on the same line that was lying on the ground.
The suspect, 30-year-old from Cartagena, tried to hide the mountains but their acts were also recorded by security cameras of a nearby restaurant.
