Inclement weather has forced organizers of the Open Championship of Spain Cartagena Coastal Trolling postpone the holding of the event was planned for this weekend, from 28 to 30 October.
If time permits, the championship will be held next weekend, between 4 and 6 November.
Trolling The Coastal Open is organized by the Real Club de Regatas with the cooperation of the City of Cartagena.
It involved thirty boats and about a hundred people from Murcia, Alicante and Almeria, mainly.
The trolling is a fishing method consisting in dragging a lure catches and the boat moving at all times, you can only stop to make the catch.
The distance limitation of fishing is up to 12 miles offshore and is not used artificial bait.
The score is on catch weight and includes all species within the sizing is always permitted, except those protected, such as bluefin tuna and swordfish.
The championship delivers three prizes and a trophy piece heavier.
