The full city council special meeting held today in which it has conducted the draw for the training of polling stations ahead of the November 20 general, a public event that the computer has replaced traditional numbered balls and hype.
As established by the electoral law, were obtained in random numbers for the first time via a computer, which then applied to the Electoral Roll, used to designate members of the 246 polling stations to be established in the municipality of Cartagena, spread in hundreds of stores.
On each table is designated a chairman and a deputy, and two members and two alternates holders.
The draw has been supervised by a member of the Board of Elections.
The ratio selected by the City Council shall be forwarded to the Election Board, which shall order the notice to interested parties, which have a period for claims they deem appropriate.
Remember that the position of president and member of the polling stations is a civic duty, which can only be excused for conflict of interest or force majeure, duly accredited.
