Last Thursday, October 20 began, for the second consecutive year, Teatro Municipal Campaign School to the Department of Education organized under the auspices of the Foundation Cajamar.
As explained by the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, this year's campaign includes a total of 10 shows, both theatrical and musical, whose recipients are schools in Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and High School.
Represented the first show on 20 and October 21, in sessions of 10 hours and 12 hours at the Cultural Center was JAZZALIA Luzzy Ramón Alonso: a journey through the history of jazz, in charge of the company Escenalia, in which the school participated with great enthusiasm.
In this show was attended by a total of 690 students accompanied by their teachers were from 11 schools of Primary and Special Education Cartagena.
The scheduling of this course includes two musical montages and eight theatrical shows which combine both theater actor and the puppets, with themes as varied as the promotion of reading, education in values, classical theater, the promotion of reading , music education, multiculturalism and tolerance.
For this campaign, which runs from October 2011 to April 2012, the Department of Education now has a total of 40 schools that have applied for participation for the various works, having so far provided assistance to 6200 students.
