The Cross of Artillery celebrated its tenth anniversary on Sunday November 13.
The trial, already established between civilian and military personnel, will be a joint career and where the goal is not competition but fun, sport and help a good cause.
With these words this morning presented the X Cross of Artillery, Councilman Sports Hall of Cartagena, Col. José Cabezas and Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment N73, Juan Carlos Lopez Roca.
The main novelty of this tenth edition expands his character is that of solidarity and earmark part of the collection, in addition to the Spanish Association Against Cancer, the victims of the earthquake in Lorca.
The Regiment, as Colonel Chief explained during the presentation, was present the day of the earthquake in Sun City, setting up camp and attending to the victims from the very beginning, so now he wants to continue to support them.
Although it has attempted to increase the number of ridges, as indicated to the organizers, this year again to 2,500 runners, both civilian and military, to make an appointment in the X Cross of Artillery.
The Cross also leverages its tenth anniversary in dressing long and increase travel: 5,300 km. The main change in the tour is starting and finishing the move from near the Artillery Park to the Plaza of Heroes of Cavite, with the esplanade of the port and the military government building, a more open and spacious to facilitate the exit and give the riders more striking to the test.
Three tests are maintained: 5,000 meters, mile and ¼ mile.

- The fourth of a mile, will depart at 10.30 hours that is intended for smaller, competitive changes its character to a more familiar and will not deliver trophies but a commemorative medal to all participants.
- The mile, for younger riders, will depart at 10.50 hours, and will travel 1609 meters along the Paseo Alfonso XII to the square of the island and back.
- On the Cross of 5,000 meters, will depart at 11.30 hours, and the main change is that the tour has included a new section: the University will be uploaded to the Ripoll Captains Avenue, a stretch for more demanding experienced runners.
REGISTRATION FOR THE CROSS:
In order to increase revenue for the victims of Lorca, this edition raises the registration fee: 8 euros for the testing of 5,000 meters and 5 euros for testing mile and 1 / 4 mile.
The registration period is open until November 10 or until completion of 2500 runners in the official list of registered.

Pre-registration will be written off within 5 days after conclusion, if not the payment of the fee.
