Sailing under the stars and constellations seen from a unique point of the city will be possible tomorrow night Friday with a visit to Fort Christmas, an activity that takes place within the activities planned by the tenth anniversary of the Cartagena Port of Cultures.
The activity starts at the tourist catamaran will depart at 20.30 hours from the actual scale of the port.
Along the way, will begin to see the first stars to arrive at Fort Christmas that will become members of an observatory where Astronomical Association of Cartagena, to educate people about the techniques used by ancient navigators to guide you through the stars.
Instruments will also be shown for calculations of latitude early navigators used in the discovery of the New World, and will study celestial ephemeris, telescope observations and projections of planets.
In this first activity will be three passes between 20.30 and 21:30 hours, and the visit will last approximately an hour and a half.
The seats, by appointment, are almost covered, but not to let anyone on earth, there will be another night visit on 11 November.
Remember that within the activities, Cartagena Port of Cultures, has developed over this year's celebration of its tenth anniversary, to Fort celebrates Christmas with a program of activities under the name 'Navigation and the stars' including presentations, workshops, night tours and dramatized tours, which have aroused great interest among the public.
The visit to Fort Christmas and exhibitions 'Turning the past into the future' and 'Navigation and the stars' can perform free-form 10:30 to 18:30 hours.
