More than a thousand users benefited during the past year the services of this organization, who also attended 57 innovative projects
The Development Agency of Murcia, through the European Business and Innovation Cartagena (CEEIC), encouraged the entrepreneurial culture in Cartagena with the creation of 24 companies in 2010.
The initiatives promoted by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research from CEEIC are consolidated as a dynamic business tool Cartagena and its surroundings, thanks to the experience in advising entrepreneurs and promotion of innovative and technological development.
In the past year, over a thousand entrepreneurs benefited from the services of this entity, which also attended 57 innovative projects.
Of these, 24 have seen the light to become companies in the region.
The center also promoted the creation of 16 technological projects, resulting in eight start-up technology-based companies and six draft patent.
The director of the Institute for Development of the Region of Murcia, Juan Hernandez, said that "among entrepreneurs CEEIC promotes the three parameters that the Regional Executive considered key to demonstrate the strength in the market: innovation, cooperation and internationalization."
In this line, the center saw last year about 200 entrepreneurs and businessmen in search of advice for the creation of business plan development or investment projects.
The service offers CEEIC encompasses the various phases of starting a business, ranging from the initial consultation for entrepreneurs to the business location, through guidance, motivation and promotion of entrepreneurial activity.
Strategic lines of work
The CEEIC has three strategic lines of work.
The first is the 'Consultancy for business creation and business consolidation', whose primary mission is to advise, assist and support the entrepreneur or business owner in their new projects or initiatives.
The second is called 'Disclosure of entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurship', designed to bring training to entrepreneurs through various technical seminars and courses.
The third and last line is the 'business location', which offers entrepreneurs the ability to locate their businesses in facilities that have in the industrial CEEIC Cabezo Beaza.
