The Delegation of the Government in Murcia reports that the Integrated External Surveillance (SIVE) Civil Guard has detected a new small boat this afternoon south of Cape Tiñoso in Cartagena, with 9 immigrants on board.
20:10 hours on the Maritime Service Patrol has intercepted the boat about seven miles south of Cape Tiñoso and she has confirmed that 9 people traveling in apparent good health.
With this and are 5 small boats intercepted by the Integrated External Surveillance (SIVE) in less than 48 hours.
In total, 63 people of Algerian origin have tried to arrive at our shores from late Thursday.
It is expected that soon the Civil Guard transport to ports where they will be assisted by members of the Red Cross to be later made available to the National Police for identification and start the process of returning to the country of origin.
