The next few days in July, August and October 9 will meet at the harbor near a hundred sailors sail the Optimist class child to participate in the second edition of the Trofeo Ciudad de Cartagena, organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
In the national event will compete a total of 97 sailors from all over Spain, Malaga, Cadiz, Punta Umbria, Salou, Cambrils, Fuerteventura, Vigo, Coruña, Torrevieja and Valencia.
The regatta will consist of seven sleeves in a contested race the most attractive areas of Spain for its terrain and shifting winds.
This year, the participating vessels will be prepared on Friday morning at the Tail of the Whale by sculptor Fernando Saenz Elorrieta, which is located next to the military and Arsenal between the old boat dock in the Port of Cartagena.
The output is expected from this point on 13.00 hours on Friday, depending on wind conditions.
The competition ends on Sunday 8 17.00 on the awards.
The proof is in the international circuit OPTIMIST EXCELLENCE scoring CUP, which make up the Royal Sailing Club, Club de Vela Palamos, Real Club Nautico de Vigo and Real Club Nautico de Palma de Mallorca.
The competition is also framed in the programming of the Week Sailing Club Regatta 2011.
