Keep the number of activities and the quality of those with less money is a challenge, but the Youth Council has overcome its T-LA program (Alternative Leisure) summer 4015 has received the 103 young participants programmed activities, the highest figure in its history, with a significant increase in the age group between 14 and 19 years.
This encourages program managers to keep betting on the organization of activities for youth, as highlighted by the Councillor for Youth, Ruth Collado, and the president of Local Youth Council, Manuel Soler, during the presentation of T Fall-LA, the latter insisting that, thanks to the imagination of technicians and support of our partner companies, we have achieved our goal of reaching more youth in the municipality despite having few resources.
For the last quarter of the year, 83 activities are planned, with a budget of 8,000 euros, 2,000 less than last year, and involves 21 associations, one third of which are located in the districts and provincial councils.
Further emphasizes the greater involvement of associations dedicated to the care of people at risk of social exclusion, involving, in this case, Inclusive Recreation Service for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
In October, taking advantage of good weather that is still in the Mar Menor, will develop water sports like water skiing or canoeing ¼ ism, and also throughout the quarter, there will be hiking and biking, climbing, theater workshops, music and dance, visit the Archaeological Museum of Alicante and weekend trips to Valencia and the skins (Murcia), among other activities.
Finally, Soler noted the increased presence of T-LA program in social networks: Tuenti (with about 1,000 friends), furniture (more than 2,500 friends) and Twitter.
