The Councillor of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, n Palaza Carolina, received this morning at a Norwegian delegation headed by Sverre Saerre, a leading member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Oslo Norway.
The visitors were received at the Palace Hall, where they made ​​a tour of the building, and have exchanged several gifts of appreciation with the Councillor for Tourism, on behalf of the City of Cartagena, as a symbol of brotherhood between Norwegian and Cartagena.
The Norwegian delegation are former students of a Spanish school in Guardamar del Segura and organized a one week stay to learn throughout the Community, including the rich cultural and historical heritage of Cartagena.
The group consists of about 25 people over 60 years, which represent the bulk of public and institutional life of the people of Arabygd i, a town in southern Norway of 98 inhabitants located in the Telemark region Vinge, a tourist area known for its traditional villages, museums and churches.
Its main tourist resort on the Telemark Canal, a waterway that runs 105 kilometers from the mountains to the sea through a changing landscape which each year attracts millions of tourists, and where the largest water park in the country and a of the world's largest artificial waves.
