Four more of the town this morning have been adding to the tourist consortium initiative of the Cartagena Port of Cultures to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons which falls tomorrow October 1.
Five museums and resorts of Puerto de Culturas are open for free between 10.00 and 13.00 hours to receive several major groups of the municipality by invitation could have removed these days on the first floor of La Milagrosa building, headquarters of the Social Care Department of the City of Cartagena.
In particular older people have visited the Panoramic Lift, the Castillo de la Concepcion, the Casa de la Fortuna, the Punic Wall and Decumano.
The International Day of Older Persons will have its official ceremony this afternoon in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy at 18.00, chaired by Social Care Councillor of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon.
Remember that during this event will be two tributes: the three persons of the town which this year celebrates the centenary, and three over 65 years that have been incorporated as new volunteers to the program of Social Services The Trunk of experience, and transmit their knowledge to help other seniors.
The evening will culminate with a performance by the trio Romanza.
