The Policy Commission of the Autonomous Territorial yesterday gave final approval to the General Urban Plan (Plan) of Cartagena, which regulate land use and permit the municipality to the next thirty years.
For the Town Planning of the City of Cartagena, Joaquin Segado, this is great news for the town as it is an exemplary plan will stimulate the economic fabric of the town at this time of crisis, as far as possible within the powers of local councils.
The new General Plan of Cartagena, which received a favorable report from the Community unanimously, is based on three pillars which include the zoning for businesses, for the construction of road infrastructure, and development of all nuclei populations municipality.
As explained by the three axes Segado of the Plan are:
- Allow any company wishing to settle in Cartagena have land available, which will result in the revitalization and economic benefit of the municipality.
- Set the reservation of land for road infrastructure development of the major ring roads that connect major population and large Marfagones Los Molinos, La Palma, Pozo Estrecho, The Aljorra and the Albujón.
- Develop core populations that are at the heart of Cartagena in the same proportion as the center of the city.
The entry into force of the new General Urban Plan of Cartagena is scheduled for the coming months.
Previously, the document should address some technical issues and set in a revised text to be approved by the full City Council in the coming weeks.
The final document will inform the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, before publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
