The Palacio Municipal Molina room for a whole month welcomes the work of the painter Cartagena Piedad Martinez Torres.
'Moments' is the title under which fall some twenty oil paintings created by the brush of this local artist, disciple of great masters such as Solana Catarineu or Dora.
His work records scenes of everyday life, objects, people and cities, including some of his paintings have captured the essence typical of the way of life in different countries such as Norway, Stockholm and Tibet.
As consideration in your blog itself Piedad Martinez Torres, is a painter with a passion for art, antique furniture restoration and sports like kite surfing, which spends just a canvas for this show.
The opening of the exhibition took place last Thursday at the municipal hall Palacio Molina Jara street, and was attended by the Councillor of Culture of the City of Cartagena, Rosario Montero, and the Regional Assembly President Francisco Celdran , and other authorities who accompanied the artist on his debut.
The exhibition will remain open to the public moments in the Palace Molina of September 22 to October 22 and can be visited Tuesday through Saturday mornings from 10.30 to 13.30 and afternoons from 17.00 to 20.30 hours.
On Sunday and Monday closed.
