The Minister of Health, María Angeles Palacios, and Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, will open on Monday 26 September the new primary care center in the valley, at an event to be held at 10:30 hours.
The new center will serve the 1032 population census in the town, has an area of ​​440 square meters and has raised over a municipal area of ​​2,187 square meters, located on Avenue of the Discovery of America s / n.
In anticipation of future population growth, the building has been constructed to serve up to 4,000 people.
The facility, fully accessible for disabled people, including six consultations (including general medicine, pediatrics and nursing), three waiting rooms, administration and reception areas, store, toilets and a lounge for staff health.
It also has air conditioning and computer network throughout the building.
The new office has had a budget of 466,000 euros, between Autonomous Region and City Hall, ETOS, Works and Services, SA, has been the company responsible for its construction.
