Called by the healthy lifestyles and the desire to know the great historical and cultural heritage that exists in our city were the fifty people who joined Saturday to the proposed bike guided tours organized by the Department of Environment of the City of Cartagena, with the Association Vía Libre, MURAM and Port of Cultures.
At 9.30 am the doors were concentrated Youth Resource Center on Paseo Alfonso XIII, to give the starting signal for the route, which was attended by the Councillor for Tourism and Environment, Palazón Carolina .
The route was the largest that ran the Defensive Cartagena, which included a group of about forty riders of all ages who toured the Paseo Alfonso XIII to the Interpretation Center of the Punic Wall and then ride to go to the Castle Conception, and then went to Refugio Civil War Museum and Interpretive Center Military and Defense Architecture of Fort Christmas.
The second group of twenty people made ​​the Cartagena Walking Modernist toured the Palacio Aguirre, Casa Celestino Martinez, Master House, Grand Hotel, Casa Pedreño, Dorda House, Casa Zapata, Casino, Cervantes House and Town Hall Square to the Cemetery N ª Señora de los Remedios, where they visited the tomb of Isaac Peral.
On their way they discovered the main attractions of the city from another point of view, while each of the sites did a tour with specialized personnel.
The participants came with their own bikes but there were many who did not want to miss the opportunity and chose to use the loan service Bicity.
For all bikers remember that tomorrow, Tuesday September 20th will take place the II Second Bike-Roman output in Cartagena, organized into internal acts of the Federation of troops and legions of Romans and Carthaginians and will involve the collaboration of service Bicity loan so that no activity is lost.
The output will start at 11.00 hours at Camp Festive and tour the Alameda de San Antón, Plaza of Spain, Calle Real, Paseo Alfonso XII and Calle Cuesta del Batel and Gisbert, to return again for the Paseo Alfonso XIII, Calle Mayor, Calle del Carmen, Plaza of Spain, Alameda St. Anthony to the Camp.
