The touristic consortium Cartagena Puerto de Culturas today received the award 'Festive Honoris Causa 2011', awarded by the Federation troops and legions of parties Carthaginians and Romans.
The award recognizes the collaboration of Port of Cultures in the development of these parties, as part of the tourist and cultural places emphasis on the origins of the city.
This distinction coincides with the tenth anniversary of the city's tourism brand.
In these ten years, the consortium has contributed to the conversion of Cartagena as a tourist destination and cultural reference.
The delivery of this award took place on Friday at the Town Hall Square, where the presenter and actress Pilar Rubio was responsible for delivering the opening speech prior to the festive opening of camp.
